Mark A. Siever, AIA is the
founder and principal at S+A ARCHITECTURE Inc. After
graduating from the University Of Kentucky’s College
Of Architecture in 1985 he joined Omni Architects to begin his
internship. While there he worked on numerous projects recognized for
excellence in design by multiple organizations including the American
Institute of Architects. Following that experience he worked for Gray
Construction, ArchVision, and then spent 10 years working with Chris
Chrisman at Summit Engineering. He is one of the region's earliest
adopters of B.I.M. and has been a strong advocate of energy efficient
design beginning during his educational years at U.K. He is currently the ARC405 instructor of B.I.M at U.K.'s college of Design and a
member of the National Board for Historic Preservation. In 2008 he was recognized by the Bluegrass Chapter of the Construction Specifiers
Institute with their "Visionary of the Year Award". |

Hiram Dudley Ives, III, an associate and intern architect, helped
to found S+A ARCHITECTURE, Inc. in February of 2006. After graduating from the
University of Kentucky’s College of Architecture in 2001, Dudley relocated to
Los Angeles, California where he was employed by R.L. Binder Architecture and
Planning and then AHT Architects. He then returned to Lexington, Kentucky where
he worked with both Mark Siever and Chris Chrisman at Summit Engineering before
leaving with Mark to form S+A ARCHITECTURE, Inc. |

Rebbecca Hughes, LEED AP,
an intern architect, joined the firm in May of 2007 after completing
her Master's Degree in Architecture at the University of Kentucky. She
graduated Summa cum Laude. Her educational portfolio and most recent design proposals provide strong evidence of
her design talent. She came to us with about two years of practical
office experience working with a number of local architects. Becca received her LEED accreditation in December of 2007. |

Joey McDaniel, an
intern architect, joined the firm in March of 2007 after completing
his degree in Architecture at the University of Kentucky. He has proved
to be a quick study, and is both highly motivated and positive. The
depth
of his talents have been well demostrated and we have great hopes for his
future with
S+A. |

Shelly Skeens,
is in charge of Information Technology at S+A. She began working with
us in February of 2009. She studied architecture prior to recieving a
degree in political science and continuing her education at Boston
College. While at Boston College she persued her Masters degree in
linguistics. Her language studies focoused on both Chinese and computer
programing. |

Licia R. Siever helped to establish the firm in February of 2006
and now continues to provide accounting and managerial services. She received
her Bachelor of Economics from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, São Paulo,
Brazil. She served as a credit analyst for São Paulo Development Bank from 1983
to 1986. She was the office manager of Gusmão and Labrunie, Ltd., a patent and
trademark law office located in São Paulo, Brazil. At Forjados Ltd., she also
held the position of office manager. Since relocating to the United States she
has served as a tax preparer for H & R Block and worked in the accounting
department of the Lexington Marriott Griffin Gate Resort. |

Charles B. Chrisman Jr. AIA, now a consultant, is a former senior partner. He joined S+A
ARCHITECTURE in the summer of 2006. He graduated from Rice University with his
degree in architecture in 1973. After graduation Chris moved to Boston where he
worked for the respected TAC, The Architects Collaborative. Mr. Chrisman’s
experience also includes a partnership at CMW of Lexington, Kentucky. In 1995 he
started the architectural division for Summit Engineering. After 11 years at
Summit, He joined Mark and Dudley at S+A where he headed up
business development and marketing efforts. |
