The “Sustainable System House 3A” is a 1400 square foot 3 bedroom house designed with the following goals. First reduce the size but maximize the sensation of space. Oriented for active and passive solar benefit, allow for natural day-lighting, and use reduced glazed openings on Northern, Eastern and Western elevations. Structural Insulating Panels (SIPS) provide plenty of insulation.
