Philosophy:

Few people go into architecture expecting to get rich. Those that do will likely be disappointed. It’s a demanding profession requiring great skill, talent, creativity, insight, knowledge, and attention to detail as well as a willingness to adapt to change. While we take it seriously, we want our clients, employees, consultants, contractors, and ourselves to enjoy the experience as much as possible. We want to provide the best products and services that we possibly can with the smallest ecological footprint, and to do so at a modest profit.
In this way all benefit from the arrangement.

In order to satisfy our clients we have to ensure that they receive the best service we can possibly provide them on their budget. To ensure clients receive this superior service, we start by assembling a staff that is passionate about architecture and competitively compensate them. We also provide the best working conditions we can. If we are letting them down we want to know about it – they are important to us. We also make a point of providing them with the best computer equipment and software available. Perhaps most importantly we provide them with design opportunities from the beginning of their employment. This is what virtually all young architects and intern architects crave and thrive on.

We encourage total office participation on those projects that call for creative “out-of-the-box” thinking. Often we hold healthy in-house design competitions or "charrettes", the results of which are ultimately decided by the client. We’ve found that this quickly and effectively provides clients with multiple ideas and options to their unique projects. The best ideas are then thoughtfully combined into a single integrated solution. Other times clients are looking for simple straight forward solutions that may not require an elaborate design process. These clients can often be accommodated as well.
